Malta holidays 2020

Malta holidays are memorable for all the right reasons. Fascinating history, stunning scenery, amazing beaches and an eclectic mix of cultures and character are just some of the treats that make this a first class holiday destination.

With over 300 days of sunshine a year, English as a common language and all the culture and entertainment you could wish for, it’s no wonder Brits are taking more vacations on the Maltese islands than ever before!

Gozo Holidays

Deep blue sea, wild scrublands, and rocky beauty characterise the Maltese islands, and nothing is more exemplary of this than the small island of Gozo, Malta’s sister island and made for holidays.

It’s a popular location not just with foreigners looking to get a taste of the Maltese islands, but locals eager for a laid-back break. Gozo is known for its rural and scenic wilder living, and has a population of just 37,324 out of Malta’s total of 475,000.

Sliema, Malta

Imagine this – strolling along a wide promenade, right next to the sea, enjoying the million-dollar view of the capital city’s beautifully-lit skyline and the Marsamxett harbour. There’s some hustle and bustle on the promenade, but it’s not too crowded, just about right.

This is Sliema, Malta – one of the main destinations to visit or stay in if you’re planning your holidays to Malta.

Buġibba, Malta

One of the major holiday hotspots in the North of the country is Buġibba, Qawra and the whole St. Paul’s Bay area (from the hamlet of Salina up to and even including Xemxija).

This is a seaside cluster of towns which have traditionally consisted of the holiday homes of the local population – but has now evolved to become a major touristic destination where many of our visitors stay, thanks to the great selection of accomodation which is available all throughout the year.

Paceville / St Julian's, Malta

Imagine this – Europe’s most buzzing hotspots like Ibiza, concentrated in an area which is walking distance, clubs, parties, bars, discos, restaurants, casinos, hotels and beaches – all of Malta’s hottest nightlife.

This is Paceville Malta, the area within St. Julian’s which is reknown for being the entertainment mecca of the island.

Mellieha, Malta

Mellieħa is the northernmost village in Malta, further up from St. Paul’s bay and right before Cirkewwa. Its altituous position allows it to enjoy some of the most beautiful panoramas of the Maltese islands as well as being home to the many sandy beaches the north has to offer.

Whether it’s beaches, restaurants or modest hotels you’re looking for – Mellieħa has it all. That’s why it’s one of our favourite destinations.
